Steven stayed home from school today. He's been fighting a nasty cold all week, and last night it finally got to him. His best friend was supposed to spend the weekend with us, and he was too sick for it...
But, even though our plans changed a bit because he was home, my mom and I still made it to the Festival of Trees. We wanted to look at all the trees, and spy on the silent auction (because our cool nutcracker was being auctioned off). What I didn't know was that there was a nativity room.
I love nativities.
I have several of my own, but I saw a whole lot more that I wouldn't mine having. :)
My pictures for Dec 4 are all from the Festival of Trees. No person (Steven wanted nothing to do with the camera). Really fun, though. And a fun remembrance of this year's festival.
And the nutcracker ended up being subject to a bidding war. And selling for a good amount of money, which will help the Old Logandale School Historical and Cultural Society (otherwise known as OLSHACS).
