Yesterday afternoon I came home from meal assembly and just hung out by myself, watching Camp Rock and doing a little scrapbooking on the laptop. I really need to start scanning in pictures--soon! Anyway, here is what I did yesterday. I used a template (all in french, oh la la) by v.vv. Most of the paper is Shabby Princess (if not all), as is the flower.
Lazy Day Sunday

Well, the weekend was nice. I had to work yesterday, and I ended up assembling nine meals for the freezer (recipes from Homemade Gourmet). Sometime this next week, my friend Eva and I are assembling 15 more from Saving Dinner. That plus the two I had left from last week should hold my family over for a while. We (Eva and I) are having an assembly day at the beginning of August--22 meals. We are inviting friends and family to come assemble their own (we are just providing the companionship--they have to buy the groceries!). I've really needed to stock my freezer for a while--my family has been suffering with all my health problems.

Ahhh...how nice not to have to work today. On the other hand, I have to go to the doctor to discuss my impending surgery, so...there you go. In celebration of summer (and the fact that I am way behind on my pictures), I have scrapped this page about our end of the school year party (yup, 2007). I used Julie Billingsley's kit "Old Beach House" from Sweet Shoppe Designs (one of my very favorite online stores), and templates by "Templates by Erica". Lots of fun, and makes me want to go swimming...

Scouts
Hmmm...ok! I am starting this blog so that I have an easy place to post my layouts to share with my friends and family. And so, on that note--here is one of the layouts I completed today. I have been working on layouts for my son's Cub Scout Scrapbook, but so far those have been done traditionally. I am in the process of switching over to digital scrapbooking, and so this layout is the first for his BOY SCOUT scrapbook. I have done a version of this layout for each Boy Scout I have pictures of at this event, and I will probably do that from now on. My plan is for this to be an ongoing gift. Steven, Mack, and Riley (who are all in this layout) have been in scouts together since Tiger Cubs--and they all have scrapbooks.
